What an event!
The SDR was at Cybathlon, which took place in Zurich from October 25 to 27, 2024. 67 international teams took part in the competition to demonstrate the effectiveness of their technology in eight disciplines.
Alireza Darvishy from the SDR started Sight Guide team together with his colleagues from the University of Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ), and the ZHAW. The team finished third of the Visual Race and received the jury's prize for innovation and usability! Watch a clip of the race below. Oriane Pierrès also took part in the competition as a referee, an opportunity to see the races from up close.
